Enjoy TMate
Once you become a TMate member, you will be able to use the video chat guide provided by the master.
To become a TMate member, tap Login from Menu and tap “Sign up”. Or, if you have a Facebook account, you can log in by tapping the “Sign in with Facebook” button.
Enter your username, your nickname (will be published and can be changed later), your e-mail address and password, and then tap the “Register” button to become a TMate member.
You can find trip information from 3 different ways as below.
1. Find by Map
2. Find in List
3. Find by Schedule
You can see trip list below as sample by tapping “Find in List”.
A trip which has the video chat guide service is shown with icon in trip list and with icon on map.
Please select one from the trip list and tap the “Inquiry/Reserve” button in the trip overview.
You can ask the TMate Master anything about the trip or the guide schedule by sending messages in Inquiry before booking.
(note: You will get an email as notification when you receive a message.)
When you make a reservation, select a schedule from the calendar to book.
(Currently, only one person can book for one guide service, but up to five people can participate at the same time with an access code issued at the time of reservation.)
After you book a guide service, if you would like to communicate with the TMate Master in advance, you can use “Comments to the reservation” of the reservation trip overview from reservation list. (note: You will get an email as notification when you receive a message.)
Before starting video chat guide, it would be good to have a headset with a mic wired or wireless to hear well.
To start the video chat guide, tap the corresponding trip from the reservation list and tap “Start Guide” button after the reservation confirmed.
When the start time comes, tap the “Start” button on the video chat screen.
The video chat guide consists of a video chat, a handout, a map, and a setting screen.

On the setting screen, you can change it if you change the video quality or when there are multiple camera speaker / microphone connected.
We recommend that you use video quality as standard.
When returning from the video chat screen, tap “back” button.
By tapping the “Stop temporary” button, you can come back after it’s stopped.
If you tap the “Completely finish” button, this video chat guide will end and you will go to the review screen.
